Our Partners
Birmingham Home Choice is the new way for some people to rent a home from the Council or from Midland Heart or Family Housing Associations and some other Housing Associations in the city.

You will need to be registered with Birmingham City Council to bid on Council properties and some Housing Associations.
The scheme is also open to customers who are registered separately with Midland Heart and Family Housing Associations. Registered customers will be able to bid only on properties advertised by Family and Midland Heart.
Nomination Partners
Customers registered with Birmingham City Council will be able to bid on Council properties and some housing association properties.
This is because some Housing Associations are required to provide the Council with a proportion of their housing, when it becomes available, for the Council to let to an applicant on its Housing Register. This is known as a nomination. The council will advertise nomination properties through Birmingham Home Choice and customers registered with the Council can bid on them.
The following Housing Associations provide nomination properties to the Council. You can find out more about what it means to be a tenant. Simply click on the name of the Housing Association below to visit their website.
