Building Homes for Heroes

The council has teamed up with city charity The Alderson Trust on a development of 12 homes for ex-service men and women, due for completion by the end of March.

The homes – three houses, three bungalows and six apartments – are being built by developer Galliford Try at Frankley Lane, Northfield. Anyone who has served in the armed forces and is eligible for housing in Birmingham can apply to rent one from the council, with allocation based on the number of points awarded. Proof of service in the armed forces will be needed.

These properties will not be advertised on Birmingham Home Choice as they are for ex- service men and women only. If you would like to discuss if you are eligible for one of the ‘homes for heroes’, call Birmingham Home Choice, on 0121 675 5779 or email us at: enquiry@birminghamhomechoice.org.uk .
